The very minute this record begins I know I am in love with it; emotional singer/songwriter folk-punk that just knocks your socks off, plain and fucking simple. Much akin to the awesome noises of Sam Russo, it’s gutsy, simplistic and manages to grab your soul by the scruff right from the off. It’s all talk of friendship, love-hardships and the turmoil and nostalgia of life, sung along to brash and plucky straight-ahead riffs.

“The Following Is My Eulogy” is a stirring number with an anthemic feel making you want to be surrounded by all the people that mean the most to you, to drink a beer with, relating to the lyrics together. Thom is definitely one to watch, if people have any sense; his sound is unadulterated honest song writing that blows you away from the very first note.
