Two tracks of steamhammer desert riff gallop with a touch of bombed 70's psych from Bratfer's Cut Yourself in Half. It's not going to get you pondering the future of western civilization or reaching for a calculator to work out the time signatures; it's a short cut to primordial gratification.

'Say Goodbye to the World' is a fine stop-start bit of hammer horror awash with great riffs and diaphragm-punching work from the rhythm section. In fact, get frontman George to wear Nosferatu facepaint and countless rivetheads will be fizzing at the gash about the avalanche of melodic heaviness as much as we do over Ghost. Over a catacomb-descending doom groove, he grasps the torch and narrates us through 'Psycho Human Being Disaster's cosmic funeral like a glam rock Andy Falkous.

The antisocial older brother to fellow Yorkshire torso-splitters Pulled Apart by Horses, Cut Yourself in Half should provide plenty more acid rock thrills and spills, and this is a very promising start.
