Aidan Rivett - I knew what this song was going to sound like as soon as I saw the band's name. 80's tinged synth-pop raised on a strict diet of Blondie and The Human League but with about a third of the musical quality. It's practically drowning in keyboards and the vocals are so annoying and repetetive that I'm off to A+E from bashing my head against a wall. 0 Beards

Darren Bibby - Is this a Sesame Street interlude? In fairness, it's only a bit of restraint on the keyboard flanger and some ruthless editing away from being a half-decent tune. Highly repetitive, in a bad way - nothing changed. Consciously dressing in baggy 80's clothing for the video aroused my suspicions. 2 Beards

Sam Green - Needless repetition spoilt a good song here, if it was just on the outside of a 3 min track it would be really good. Liked the video, it showed a real natural and fun element to the band, the sort of thing you would expect from a band called Teen. Sound very similar to Friends, and they fit nicely into that retro synth styled 80's throwback psych-pop kind of movement that is pretty current at the moment. 2.5 B's.

Lizzie Banoffee - I agree it's perhaps a bit too long, but I'm a total sucker for a simple synth riff with a nice melody sung over it. I like her voice a lot. This is the sort of song that I will probably play every day for about a week and then never listen to again. Love the video, too. 3.5 Beards

Chris Washington-Sare - Listened to this after heavy day at work expecting to be annoyed and bored. Exact opposite happened. The krauty repetition and the cheapness were really endearing. Loved the stripped back sparseness - and the length - giving you time to wallow in nothing much at all. Positively brightened my day. 3.5 beards.
