Scott R. White - Music is fucking sick. Lyrics are shit. I agree with them, but meh. 3 Beards.

Lizzie Banoffee - How would you even know what they were saying if the words didn't come up on the screen?! I can't help thinking whenever I hear this sort of noisiness, "Oooh he must be doing terrible damage to his vocal chords shouting like that." I'm so obviously not the target demographic for this. Can someone who likes it explain what I'm missing please?

Darren Bibby - There are sentiments to agree with here, but if you're gonna deliver this kind of diatribe on the music of others, you better be fucking great. And it's...average - fairly unremarkable blanket grind. In terms of what you're missing - I guess it's like that really hot chilli sauce you can get. If you're into extreme flavours, it's addictive and gets you going...if not, it can be unpalatable. I'd rather bands show me that they're the real deal rather than spend a whole song telling me so literally. Comes out like a childish strop, with all the bitter, superior tenets of the art it purports to discredit. 3 B’s

Eóin Boylan - is it just me or will Relapse sign anything nowadays? Standard, would be totally fine if they didn't tell me what they were saying. 3 Beards

Oliver Perrott-Webb - Think it says a lot that within 30 seconds, I was busy critiquing their choice of font. You aren't meant to laugh at grindcore, right? Well, think again. Murder Construct have, with the ridiculous idea of putting the lyrics in the video and the nature of said lyrics, created the very first Novelty Grind album. Expect a Christmas release from these guys. Expect them to heed my words of advice on font selection and post all future releases in Comic Sans, Curlz or the font used for the London 2012 logo. 0.5 beards.

Sam Green - I listened to this without the video first time around after reading everyone else's comments, the only thing I could muster by way of opinion on it was it was a little generic. The drumming however is amazing though. I then watched the video. Eurgh. Anyone with a reasonable amount of self awareness and minimal knowledge knows that we're fucked. We don't need you to spell it out for us do we? 2.5 B's
